Spirulina Pie Revisited

Ingredients

Filling:

3/4 cup water

1/4 cup Brazil nuts

1/4 cup coconut oil

1/2 cup maple syrup

2 tablespoons spirulina

1 tablespoon pure cacao powder

Crust:

- 2 cups finely ground raw almonds

- ⅓ cup pitted dates

Directions

To make the crust mix the ground almonds and pitted dates in a bowl. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 5-inch pie tin.

In a blender, combine the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.

Pour this liquid mixture onto the pie crust and freeze overnight, or at least 4-6 hours before serving.

Almost better than ice cream!
